In the second part of Mark Gibbs series on building Sentimeter,
his almost real-time Twitter sentiment analysis tool, Gibbs shared his
frustration with using Xcelsius and gave readers a rough description of his
homemade ASP.NET-based proxy server, which he created because the
Flash-based Xcelsius is constrained by the security sandbox model that the
Flash player enforces..
( If you need to catch up on parts one and Two at you can check
out the Gearhead columns from last week and the week before)
In the third installment of The Twitter Sentimeter, Mark Gibbs goes into greater detail about his caching problems and
explains how he added some simple code to disable the OpenAmplify and ASP.NET caching. Read more about the Sentimeter project in this
week's Gearhead column.
